Be still and know that I am God-Ps. 46:10
When I look at this world and what is happening right now, I can see chaos, uncertainty, fear, stress, and a lot of sadness happening in people’s lives. Then I turn and look to God and I see His love, faithfulness, truth, and most of all I can feel His amazing peace.
I am reminded by this scripture to be still and know that He is God.
Don’t allow yourself to be so busy that you don’t get still before the Lord. There is peace that is only found in His presence. If you don’t get still, this world and all that is happening will cloud your view of God in the midst of your life. Don’t let that happen. Jesus always tells us not to worry for a reason. He has overcome the world and we are victorious in our lives because of what He has done through the cross. Maybe you don’t see yourself being victorious in your life and it doesn’t seem that way, but if God is for you who can be against you.
Turn your worries into prayers and take time to be still and know that He is God….
