It is no more a hidden fact that the friction between science and religion has faded into a smooth pact. Though there still exists some ambiguity between simple science and the practice of religion.
It is my intention to prove the reality of the Christian faith and its empiricism above all other faith. The reality of a standard and verifiable practice of faith is hinged on the infallible teachings of the Holy Scriptures. No other faith has an extensive and tangible heritage as the Christian faith.
It is true that science has been able to validate several of the historical claims of Christianity but it is also true that not of all Christianity’s theological and historic heritage can be scientifically explained. A typical case in point is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Science still maintains that death is the final cessation of man’s existence. Life after death is not supported by the theories of scientific investigations.
With these several unexplainable theological heritage, it is my proposition that science should not be pushed too far in the explanation of spiritual and theological experience. This then makes it easy to see that science serves a great deal in validating Christianity but should not be seen as the ultimate and final test probes for measuring the authenticity of Christianity.
